LSI Logic Corporation has announced two new DVD recorder system processors. With their high levels of integration and advanced features, these next-generation DoMiNo(R) processors (DMN-8604 and DMN-8654) are designed to address the worldwide, high-volume, DVD recorder market--expected to reach over 36 million units in 2007.
With the introduction of the DMN-8604 and DMN-8654 media processors, consumer electronics manufacturers can respond to geographic trends and evolving market opportunities. The DMN-8604 is optimized to address entry- level, single-drive and combo VCR/DVD recorders with analog TV tuners.
