The recorder range will consist of a 160GB (RRP $769) and 250GB (RRP $879) model, both of which feature HDMI 1080i upscaling to improve DVD, video and TV sources to virtual HD picture quality.

Each recorder can play and record in every DVD format. DVD-RAM discs can be recorded and erased up to 100,000 times without losing the DVD viewing quality.

For camcorder owners, there is also the ability to record directly from the camera as well as in-built editing capabilities to touch up home movies.
